God’s Word gives light to keep our feet from stumbling. And it shines forth to point us on the right path to follow. As a light is useless without being turned on, so the Word cannot do its work in us unless we read and meditate on it. Have your “turned on” the Word today?

With the increase of smart phones, laptops, and online Bibles, Scripture memorization is becoming a lost art. Yet, our increased access to the Word doesn’t equal the benefit of having it dwell in our minds and shape our thinking. Are you “hiding” God’s Word in your heart?

In bondage they cried out, but in freedom they forgot. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness until a faithful generation was raised up. Are we a faithful generation or have do we have spiritual amnesia? When will we remember that freedom isn’t a result of political process, but of spiritual rebirth?

The Lord enlarges our worldview. He calls us out to be His Kingdom messengers to the nations. Don’t be surprised or resist if you or your children are called to leave the comfort of home for an unknown foreign land. Get God’s worldview.

What God said of David, Jesus fulfilled. He is the both the Son of God and of David. He is Messiah, the Anointed One. On this Thursday 2,000 years ago He gave new meaning to the bread and cup at Passover. He prayed in the garden and did God’s will. Hosanna, Son of David!

Creation week establishes God’s ownership, Passion Week, His redemption. The first Adam rebelled and God’s good creation fell. The Second Adam obeyed and through Him everything is being made new again. Acknowledge what Christ has done for us!
